Torrent metadata only downloading

 · It keeps on 'downloading metadata' forever. I have done the following tests: Tried on 3 PC (Also 1 Mac) -Re-installing the software. -Other torrent files (bltadwin.rut without the magnet) I hope I can fix this, Thanks. Restarting qbittorrent do not work. It shows many seeds and peers but it is not fetching the torrent file. Both uTorrent and Tixati is able to download the torrent file. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered.  · Quite frequently I get stuck on 'Downloading Metadata' for certain torrents, whilst at the same time others download just fine. If I go to ~/Library/Application Support/uTorrent and delete bltadwin.ru and bltadwin.ru files then those stuck at 'Downloading metadata' start downloading but then a few days later I will run into the same problem.

In the buttom right of the screen on Bittorrent is a red indicator saying something about the firewall is limited (something like that) and clicked on it, ran connection test and so forth. Again, still nothing and "Downloading metadata" is at a stand still. Currently, I have only one movie on the torrent at the moment and going to give it a few. i started to download many things and utorrent now will only download 2 at once.i have the total number of active torrents and download torrents to , so it shoudl be able to do 40 at a time.i also have all the number of connections and all that stuff way up bltadwin.ru one file finishes and is s. When adding new magnet torrents via webui they get stuck in "downloading metadata".. Sometimes they eventually recovers.. in minutes, hours or days. However sometimes they don't. Thought it could be my local DNS resolution server on host, but no. Logs don't say much as well. Anyway port is allowed on host.

The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered. Sometimes they start right away. Sometimes they stick at retrieving metadata for all eternity. My only solution is to attempt to find bltadwin.rut file for one of the stuck ones instead, which isn't always possible. I had no idea about "magnet to torrent" sites and it never occurred to me to even look for that.
